Pulmonary Hypertension

Pulmonary hypertension occurs when the blood vessels in the lungs become narrowed, blocked, or damaged, causing increased pressure in the pulmonary arteries. This makes it harder for blood to flow through the lungs, causing strain on the heart and reduced blood oxygen levels. PH can be either idiopathic (of unknown cause) or associated with other underlying conditions such as heart or lung diseases and connective tissue disorders. In some individuals genetic predisposition may also play a role.

Our Solution

electronRx are focused on improving the lives of individuals with PH by leveraging digital technology to monitor changes in lung function. Using just a smartphone, our digital tools measure key pulmonary metrics  like respiratory rate and oxygen saturation. This can empower both patients and healthcare providers to more effectively manage PH, resulting in better patient outcomes.
