Deep Tech Digital Health Startup

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the coordination and execution of software projects that are redefining the way we understand, monitor, and manage respiratory health. In this role, you’ll bring structure to innovation, making sure our teams are aligned, our timelines are clear, and our goals are delivered. This is a hands-on, collaborative role where no two days look the same. You’ll work directly with our CEO and technical teams to make sure ambitious ideas become impactful products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Plan, manage, and deliver multiple projects, ensuring clear timelines, milestones, and outcomes.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with the CEO and technical leads.

  • Coordinate sprints, planning sessions, and task allocation using tools like Jira.

  • Track project progress, proactively adjusting plans and resources as needed to stay on target.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure successful, on-time delivery.

  • Oversee team progress, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and on schedule.

  • Take ownership of project documentation across all stages, proposals, research protocols, reports, and presentations.

  • Provide regular project updates and reports to the CEO.
     

Coordination and Communication

  • Act as a key liaison between the CEO and various departments.

  • Schedule and facilitate meetings, ensuring clear communication and accountability.

  • Prepare and distribute status reports and other documentation to support project visibility and team alignment.
     

Team Collaboration

  • Foster a collaborative, high performing team environment.

  • Coordinate across cross functional teams to ensure alignment, shared goals, and smooth delivery.

  • Support the distribution and prioritisation of workloads across the team.​

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or similar role, with 2+ years of experience

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently while coordinating across cross-functional teams.

  • Experience leading projects from initiation to delivery, including task management and team alignment.

  • Skilled in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Slack, and Google Drive.

  • Confident in writing technical documentation (e.g. research proposals, academic papers, or client presentations).

  • Proactive and resourceful with a problem solving mindset
    Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

  • Detail oriented, with a commitment to delivering high quality work.

  • Background in medtech or other highly regulated industries.

  • Graduate / prograduate qualification in computational, mathematical, or life sciences.

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud and web app technologies.

  • Experience working in start-up environments, especially in the life sciences or pharmaceutical sectors.
